Mehmet Ada Öztekİn

He was born on May 28, 1976 in Antalya. He studied at 9 Eylül University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration. He started doing radio broadcasting in these years. While continuing his university education, he started working in advertising productions in Istanbul. During this period, he met Kaan Çaydamlı, the founder of 6:45 Publishing House and the producer of the Losers Club radio program.

Howl, an experimental short film based on Allen Ginsberg’s Howl poem, was screened at the New York Newfilmmakers Film Festival in 2008.

He worked with the world-famous artist Kutluğ Ataman. He produced Ataman’s three video art projects. His first film, Losers Club, for which he wrote the script and was the project supervisor, was released in 2011. Immediately afterwards, he shot his first TV series project Kuzey Güney.

His movie Miracle in the 7th Ward, which he shot in 2019, was watched all over the world and became Turkey’s Oscar candidate. It became the most watched content on all digital platforms in France in 2021.

In 2023, on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey, the film Atatürk, which tells the first period of the life of the founder of the republic, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, was shot.

He is one of the Founders of Rain Dogs Motorcycle Club.
